Dr Joanna Christou leads the Cosmetic Skin Clinic, where she specialises in non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers and injectables. Her approach focuses on three principles: restoration, enhancement and maintenance – namely restoring beauty, enhancing natural features and maintaining youth.

Christou believes in profile balancing, where treatments are combined so a face will ‘look beautiful from every angle’. According to the clinic, Christou adopts the technique of ‘a little bit here, a little bit there’, which creates ‘a subtle youthful transformation that keeps others guessing’.

A dual-qualified dentist and medical aesthetic doctor, and Save Face accredited, Christou studied at University College Hospital, GKT School of Medical Education and Queen Mary University of London, and holds degrees from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the NYU College of Dentistry. According to the clinic, it is this unique background that has contributed to her ‘knowledge of the structure of the face’ and ability to create the much-desired ‘natural look’.
