Clare Pardy joined Hallett Independent in 2016 to help develop its book of art dealers, collectors, museums and historic houses. Her knowledge of art, antiques and architecture, combined with over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry – plus invaluable experience as a museum trustee – means Pardy is a key force in Hallett’s boutique offering.

She tells Spear’s that she firmly believes that in tough economic conditions, good service is more important than ever. And as a broker based in Fitzrovia, she is enjoying being close to the art market and to many of her clients.

Word-of-mouth still counts for a lot with collectors and art professionals – and Pardy says that the majority of Hallett’s business comes via referrals.
