He began his career in the international property risk department at Lloyd’s of London and has since become an established figure in the HNW and UHNW insurance sector. Smith’s expertise enables him to understand the exclusive lifestyle and complex private insurance needs of his clients, who are usually collectors of fine art and other valuable objects.

Smith Greenfield also collaborates with art advisers, wealth managers and trust companies in order to advise its clients on global insurance portfolios, and to nurture long-standing relationships with specialist insurers.
