Rahul Chopra, a managing director at Charles Monat Associates and head of the company’s Dubai office, is a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry.

Now the central adviser for Charles Monat’s Middle Eastern partners on ultra-high-net-worth matters and manager of the sales and development team, Chopra has in the past played a key role in designing Middle East-specific insurance products, such as takaful policies, which are compliant with sharia law. Specialising on matters related to life insurance, he advises UHNWs on legacy and estate planning via tailored solutions.

Chopra graduated from the leading business school INSEAD and enjoyed a long career in banking, working for major international players including HSBC Global Private Banking and Barclays before moving into insurance broking.
