Anatoly Crachilov is founding partner and CEO of Nickel Digital Asset Management. As the UK’s first FCA-regulated investment manager to specialise in digital assets, the firm has grown to serve more than 100 investors worldwide, consisting of UHNW and HNW families as well as a number of family offices.

Risk management is ‘the fundamental piece of our entire set-up’, Crachilov explains to Spear’s. And with a firm grounding in traditional finance (its staff include alumni from the likes of JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse), the firm is more than capable of weathering any crypto market storms. 

‘Risk management has been developed in-house. It’s a very powerful system which now has been battle-tested for the entire cycle, and that makes many investors comfortable with engaging with us,’ Crachilov says.
