Spear’s Review

Ben Morton Wright is founder, group CEO and director of Global Philanthropic, a philanthropic strategy consultancy that has partnered with leading banks, universities and organisations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, University of Cambridge Judge Business School and the United Nations Foundation.

‘Working closely with banks, private clients and medium-sized firms has allowed the group to develop and distribute resources for charitable giving in Africa, Asia and the Middle East … What we try to do is create a space where we can reflect on some of the big issues and learn from each other,’ he explained.

Morton Wright, who in 2016 launched Talking Philanthropy, an annual forum for donors, advisers and third-sector experts, favours endowments, as ‘the gift goes on forever’.
