Jimmy Baillie is the founder and managing director of debt advisory firm Silver Oak Capital. The company was established in 2019 and specialises in advising UHNW clients on secured loans between £2 million and £20 million. 

With an extensive network of more than 800 lenders across the world, Silver Oak arranges real estate debt for transactions in the UK, Western Europe, Southern Africa and the Middle East. 

Alongside prime residential and commercial mortgages, they also advise on raising debt for luxury assets, short-term bridging loans, and marine and aviation finance. In 2020, Baillie’s team successfully secured its largest bridging loan at £19.1 million for a range of international real estate developments.

Baillie, who is a keen amateur cyclist and snowboarder, holds a post-graduate degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Cape Town.
