Spear’s Review 

John Symons specialises in providing complex property finance facilities to HNW and UHNW clients.

He began his career focusing on self-employed lending, and after working with Knight Frank Finance, Symons joined Curzon Financial in 2024. 

He tells Spear’s that the majority of his clients come via personal recommendations from private offices, estate brokers and property finders. ‘Most of my clients are based in the UK; however, I also advise individuals based in the Far East, the MENA region and in North America.’ He can also advise on Lombard lending and luxury asset financing, having worked on projects involving high-profile vehicles and football clubs.

Symons adds that he relishes the complexity of his work. ‘I enjoy being creative and finding the solutions for my clients that really make a difference.’
