Spear’s Profile 

Josh Shinner is a highly experienced lifestyle, fashion, travel and portrait photographer who has worked with brands such as Disney, Nike, Mulberry and Paul Smith.

In 2023 he was hired by the Prince and Princess of Wales to take their family portrait, which then featured on their official Christmas card, and has since become a regular photographer for the royal family.

Shinner tells Spear’s that he has always enjoyed putting people at ease. ‘It’s all about finding that moment when people are comfortable, relaxed and happy.’   

He adds that ‘a brilliant photograph can be taken on the worst or best possible camera. It is much more important that you are able to create that connection, and being able to do that comes with experience.’
