Spear’s Review

Specialising in paediatric dermatology, hormonal imbalances and skin cancer, Dr Amélie Seghers serves as a consultant dermatologist at the Chelsea-based Cadogan Clinic and regularly works in other clinics around London doing skin cancer screenings, removal services and cosmetic dermatology.

Seghers, who has a master’s degree in clinical dermatology from King’s College University London and a diploma in aesthetic medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, is also a recipient of the La Roche-Posay Foundation Award for her research on eczema.

Seghers has published a number of academic articles investigating skin issues, including the causes of hyperpigmentation, types of melanomas and the varying efficacy of biopsies across different ethnicities. She also authored a book, Eczema: How to Ditch the Itch, which takes a deep dive into the condition.
