Dr Ying-Young Hui is a GP and medical director at Preventicum, a health screening clinic that offers a range of scientifically tuned tests to their clients.

His practice is aimed at preventing illness before major symptoms arise by gathering longitudinal data from clients over many years and then identifying any changes that have occurred. ‘Everything is as individualised and personalised as possible,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘Family history, which we get either before seeing our clients or during the consultation, guides us on the areas to focus on.’

Hui completed his GP training in 2015, after spending time working across acute medicine, gynaecology and ENT. His interest in holistic lifestyle management led him to join Preventicum in 2021.
