After more than 30 years on Fleet Street, including at the Sunday Telegraph, Daily Telegraph and Dow Jones, Justin Williams has all of the skills needed to run an intelligence and investigations agency.

InsightX started out with a focus on reputational risk and business relationships in sport, and has since expanded into business and the arts.

Asked what his clients are looking for, Williams tells Spear’s: ‘There’s financial stuff, corporate relationships, what they do on social media, how they interact with other people, their behaviour, exploitative practices in some parts of the world, their environmental record.

‘You might have to source records of, for example, criminal convictions by different means ... And so, obviously, you need people who are skilled at doing that.’
