Ed Hill is the founder and CEO of Intrepid Protection. The former Royal Marines commando established the London-based firm in order to provide specialist security solutions to corporate and private clients. 

Intrepid Protection offers a variety of different services – including close protection, investigations and home security – to HNW and UHNW individuals in London and beyond. The firm also offers superyacht protection; Hill holds a postgraduate degree in maritime security. 

Clients particularly value the firm’s discreet approach. When a client needs close protection, they often want to feel normal and not imposed upon, Hill explains. ‘For all of the clients that we deal with, they just want to go out there, go about their business, just look normal on the street,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘That is actually the more professional way of doing it, rather than having this huge presence that immediately attracts attention.’
