Andrew Bayliss, a partner at Hanover Search Group, specialises in recruiting private bankers and investment managers for the UK wealth management space. 

Having joined the firm in 2006, he uses his experience in the industry to consult with clients to identify and assess appropriate candidates, ensuring a strong fit based on ‘the style, culture, proposition and opportunity’ of the role. 

He helps to shape the department’s client development strategy, oversees key client relationships and ensures ‘consistency, drive and excellence’ in practice, as well as executing senior mandates within wealth management.

‘We have focused on further developing Hanover’s UK wealth management proposition, starting with investment managers and analysts and graduating to board-level roles – as well as remaining very active with the top tier of investment and business development staff,’ he tells Spear’s.
