‘We work with three types of clients,’ Matt Jenkins tells Spear’s. ‘The first is global wealth management businesses with a recognised brand name. The second is private investment offices, and the third is single-family offices.’
In 2013, Jenkins teamed up with business partner Dan Scatola to found Syracuse Partners, an executive search firm that secures senior roles in the wealth and asset management industry. Its outreach is focused particularly upon a small niche of clients operating internationally, all of whom are ‘fully committed to growing and improving their business’ and appreciate the firm’s understanding of the recruitment industry and the demands placed on candidates.
Jenkins says that the compatibility of candidates and companies is critical. ‘Firms with the ambition to compete at the highest level recognise that. We focus on growing and maintaining our network of top performers; it’s as simple as that.’
