Executive search professional Simon Worthington spent almost 22 years of his career with global talent consulting firm Sheffield Haworth. Having headed up its wealth management arm, he considers himself ‘pretty well networked’ and established his own company, Worthington Executive Search, at the end of 2023. 

With a client base that spans the UK and Switzerland (and occasionally Asia and the Middle East), Worthington advises private banks, discretionary fund managers, single- and multi-family offices and wealth management firms. 

‘Being a small and really focused company, we have clarity of purpose, and when I started [my business], I hadn’t appreciated how much that would resonate with clients,’ he explains. ‘One of the reasons is that in the wealth management sector, you have more small and medium-sized businesses compared to other sectors. Being a small-sized business myself, I think that really resonates with clients.’
