Consultant psychiatrist Dr Alberto Pertusa of the London Psychiatry Clinic takes a holistic approach to mental health, considering a combination of factors when assessing his patients, including genetics, upbringing and personality.

While he has expertise in a wide range of conditions, Pertusa is particularly qualified to assess and treat ADHD in adults, including complex cases involving addiction, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD and sleeping issues.

Pertusa undertook his medical studies in Spain before completing master’s degrees in affective neuroscience at Maastricht University and research methodology in health sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He completed his PhD thesis at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, in 2010 and has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed scientific publications.
