Professor Ali Noorani is a world-renowned upper limb orthopaedic and trauma surgeon who specialises in shoulder and elbow surgery.

At the Harley Street Specialist Hospital, he has treated many elite sportspeople, including several Premier League footballers. He is widely recognised in the world of professional sports medicine, having been a doctor for the UK National Basketball Association team, the American National Football League and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Noorani believes that a multidisciplinary method is the best way to treat upper limb problems. Working with a team of physiotherapists, he adopts a holistic, patient-centric approach, and, on average, only 20 per cent of his clientele require surgery.

He is a founding member of the Royal London Orthopaedic and Trauma Society.
