Dr Michael Criswell is a fourth-generation doctor who established his private family practice in 1991.
‘It’s a friendly, informal practice,’ he says. ‘I’ve dealt with all types – HNWs and others. It’s not what they’re worth, but who they are as a patient.’ Along with his general family practice work, he specialises in managing complex, chronic medical problems and is also trained in psychotherapy.
‘In a private practice, you develop your own style through experience,’ he explains. ‘I really like helping people, and it gives me real pleasure to get it right. I endeavour to look after people.’ Criswell hopes to one day pass his busy central London practice on to his son, who has qualified as a doctor.
