Based in the Cayman Islands, Harneys’ Henry Mander advises both private and institutional clients, including banks and trust companies, on all aspects of Cayman and British Virgin Islands trust law.

‘I have a broad range of trust and estate planning experience, including the creation, administration and termination of complex international trusts and advising on the mechanics for effective succession planning for HNW individuals and families,’ he tells Spear’s. This includes specific expertise in the use of STAR and VISTA trusts for clients in emerging markets.

He sits on the Cayman Islands council for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is one of the contributing editors to Sweet & Maxwell’s British Virgin Islands Commercial Law textbook.
