Robert Mace heads up Saffery’s international practice group, advising UHNW and HNW individuals – and their family offices and offshore trusts – on their personal and business-related tax obligations. 

The majority of Mace’s clients tend to be resident in the UK but with a strong international element to their lives, and he is well versed in setting up tax-efficient structures that will protect their wealth. This includes digital assets; Mace was first brought to Spear’s attention due to his work with entrepreneurs in the taxation and structuring of crypto assets. 

He explains that his clients appreciate his knowledge and attentiveness when giving advice. ‘I do genuinely have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues that are affecting them, and that enables me to play the trusted adviser role more effectively, because I’ve taken the time to know them.’
