Sofie Hoffman joined Harbottle & Lewis in 2020, bringing deep expertise in tax and trust litigation to an already stellar private client team.

As a partner, Hoffman works with an international clientele comprising HNWs, family offices and larger companies. Areas of specialism include assisting clients with the recovery of the proceeds of fraud, with cases often involving multiple jurisdictions and allegations of wrongdoing.

‘Through my experience of a wide variety of complex matters, I have developed an understanding of the importance of identifying at the outset of a case the client’s objectives and delivering a solution which meets those objectives,’ she says, adding that it is of utmost importance to ‘act with integrity at all times’.
