Suzanna Baker, a private client partner at Osbornes Law, specialises in non-contentious tax, wills and trusts matters, advising HNW families who are seeking advice on everything from cross-border estate administration to inheritance tax.

She spent time at a corporate finance firm before joining Osbornes, an experience which she now credits with providing a ‘breadth of knowledge’ that has been useful more than once in her private client work.

Baker also works on Court of Protection matters, where decisions about an individual or their estate must be made when they lack the mental capacity to do so for themselves. ‘It can be very stressful for families, and it’s something that’s easy to identify with,’ Baker says. ‘Most people’s lives will be touched by this at some point.’
