Based in Edinburgh, Turcan Connell’s Alix Storrie jointly leads the firm’s succession planning and tax practice, helping HNWs with landed estates, trusts and inheritance. 

Storrie, a partner since 2014, joined the firm as a trainee in 2002 after completing her legal studies at the University of Aberdeen. She says she relishes the ‘meaningful relationships’ she gets to build with wealthy families when supporting them over the long term. 

The wider firm acts for a range of wealthy individuals, including entrepreneurs, philanthropists and trustees, as well as charitable organisations. Turcan Connell seeks to put together ‘a tailor-made strategy to protect their wealth while navigating the inevitable challenges of ownership, control, succession and custody’.
