Jan Atkinson is a senior partner and head of the private client department at London-based Osbornes Law.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, she specialises in advising clients with regard to wills, estates and trusts, focusing on wealth planning, high-value estate administration, international estates and disputed probate and trusts matters.

A member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists, she is regularly appointed by the court as an independent administrator to help resolve complex and long-standing estate disputes. 

She also takes an active role in the Law Society’s private client section executive committee and regularly writes about inheritance issues.
