Dubai-based Anne-Caroline Albrecht, a partner at Bonnard Lawson, has a wide breadth of expertise across several legal disciplines, from real estate law to tax law. For the latter, she supports clients on succession and estate planning, wills and probate, and tax compliance. She is also registered with the Dubai International Financial Centre to draft wills. 

She also is familiar with both Swiss law and UAE law — an invaluable asset for Arab clients who hold their assets in Switzerland. For such clients (or any clients who hold their wealth internationally), she is experienced in liaising with overseas tax authorities to ensure that double taxation is avoided. In cases where it has not been avoided, she is able to claim back taxes that have been withheld. 

Albrecht is a graduate from the University of Geneva and is fluent in French and English.
