A tax and trust partner with Rawlinson & Hunter, Chris Hawley advises onshore and offshore trustees and their beneficiaries, assisting with the ever-increasing compliance demands they face. In this work, he leads on all aspects of forensic accounting and trust restructuring, including supporting the implementation of complex tax-planning arrangements. 

A chartered accountant, he understands the substantive tax aspects of this work, as well as the potential family sensitivities inherent in such arrangements.

He is passionate about advising charities and their trustees, and currently supports a portfolio of non-profit clients on their accounting, audit, tax and governance arrangements. This includes supporting small charities on the development of their internal operating policies and the appropriate structures for their investment and grant-making sub-committees.
