A partner in Mercer & Hole’s private client team, Liz Cuthbertson provides tax planning for UK and international HNW individuals and their families. She frequently advises clients on issues of residence, particularly when they are moving to the UK and looking to restructure their affairs. 

Her team specialises in advising offshore trustees with regard to trust structures and tax issues, as well as guiding clients through complications relating to succession planning and inheritance tax. Cuthbertson provides a rigorous assurance service to ensure that all her clients are fully compliant with the latest UK tax regulations. 

She previously worked as an accountant in Germany and is fluent in German and Italian.
