Neil Strain’s love of flowers began when he picked tulips from a neighbour’s garden for his mother as a child, and developed further as he created elaborate rose and lily arrangements for his first love.
After studying floristry, Strain founded Neill Strain Floral Couture in Belgravia; there is now also a boutique in Mayfair and one at Harrods. The firm can provide services such as decorations for Christmas, corporate events, weddings, celebrations and home decor.
Strain remains involved with the daily running of the business and regularly travels to Holland to pick out flowers and discover new varieties himself. His approach is holistic; his style is consistently bold, and the bloom-laden shopfronts are Instagram hotspots in their own right.
