Spear’s Review

Adam Nguyen is an educational strategist and founder and CEO of Ivy Link, a firm that specialises in advising UHNW families on US college admissions. 

For over two decades, Nguyen has been successfully guiding students from around the world to institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Princeton, offering assistance with test preparation, the application process and strategic decision-making. He also works with younger students who may be applying to highly selective private schools. 

Nguyen tells Spear’s that his approach is ‘grounded in the belief that a student’s long-term success, health and happiness should always be the principal goal of the admission process’. Often working with children from a very young age to start shaping their profile as early as possible, Nguyen explains he ‘encourages students to cultivate their talents and interests’, describing his company as a ‘strategic education and implementation firm’.

Nguyen has previously served as an admission reader and interviewer in Columbia’s office for undergraduate admissions and as an academic and graduate school adviser at Harvard.
