Natalie Verbo is an experienced education consultant and director at Firefly Education, and a freelance special education needs (SEN) consultant at MEUM Group. She tells Spear’s she founded Firefly over a decade ago when she saw a ‘gap in the market for a bespoke service offering assistance to children with learning difficulties and SEN’. 

For over a decade, the firm has worked with HNW individuals and independent schools in London, Europe and the Middle East. It specialises in finding the right homeschooling teachers, tutors, nannies and therapists for children as young as 18 months old until they are young adults, to help them overcome challenges associated with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. 

Verbo explains that she noticed how many families faced difficulties when placing their children in mainstream schools, as they often lacked the support children with SEN require. As a parent and a qualified SEN teacher herself, Verbo says she is able to provide a ‘personal and empathetic service to those with busy and complex situations and international lifestyles’. Her clients include UHNWs, billionaires and royal families.
