Jessie Westwood established her weddings and events design business, Studio Sorores, in 2010 after a career in PR and marketing. She now leads a small team at her firm’s Cotswolds headquarters, planning and designing events across the world, but with a ‘quintessential English, understated elegance’.

‘We are very well known for that more laid-back, quiet luxury rather than loud luxury,’ Westwood tells Spear’s. ‘Most of our designs are rooted in nature. We seek out and use artists and craftsmen to create custom and bespoke events for our clients.’

Her passion for her work has proved popular with her discerning clients, many of whom are repeat customers and who come by referral. ‘Everything we curate, everything we do is grounded in authenticity and storytelling,’ she says. ‘[It’s] not just what looks good in a portfolio.’
