Chris Woodhouse was CEO of Evelyn Partners between 2017 and 2023, increasing the wealth manager’s assets under management from £23.5 billion to more than £50 billion.

He was tasked with overseeing the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson in 2020 to create Evelyn, making sure the group came together and presented a unified corporate offering that clients could understand.  

After five-and-a-half years at the helm, Woodhouse stepped down from his position in June 2023 and was replaced by Paul Geddes. In a statement, the firm outlined that under Woodhouse’s leadership, ‘Evelyn Partners invested heavily in people, technology and developing its range of services.’

Woodhouse was named chairman of the board at Node4, a cloud-led digital transformation managed services provider, in mid-2024.
