Harry West, protégé of Billy Stephenson of Stephenson Executive Search, enters the Spear’s rankings as a rising star. A relative newcomer to the recruitment industry, he’s quickly built up an impressive client book working alongside top-tier wealth management firms and family offices on one side, and younger talent climbing up the corporate ladder on the other. 

When West sat down with Spear’s, he spoke of his commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and revealed that Stephenson Executive Search has become a signatory of the Black Talent Charter, exemplifying a commitment to promoting black talent in the UK. 

He said that the firm has grown to new heights amid an increasingly ‘vibrant’ and active labour market, especially between February and April. ‘That’s when we get the most business, because people are disgruntled about their bonuses and are looking to leave.’
