‘I’m a specialist in reconstructing teeth ... It’s crowns, implants, fillings, veneers, making sure teeth are healthy. Some people want it to be a cosmetic makeover; some just want their teeth to be taken care of,’ he says.

As well as being one of the country’s most highly regarded prosthodontic practitioners, Mirza works in general dentistry. He tells Spear’s, ‘We do general dentistry for the whole family, including the children, but when we need to we take things to a specialist level. Most of my patients see me as a general dentist, but they want to know that it’s a specialist taking care of them.’
