Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg founded their garden design practice, Harris Bugg Studio, in 2017 and have since established a reputation for delivering creative and eye-catching gardens. 

From their London, Exeter and Isle of Skye studios, the four-time Chelsea Flower Show Gold winners work on a wide range of projects, including high-end residential gardens, public places and historic and commercial spaces. 

Harris told Spear’s that ‘the largest portion of work we do is high-end residential, and we work across the UK – from Cornwall to the Highlands of Scotland – and also in Europe’. 

She explained that the firm always aims to work with local artisans, materials and plant nurseries in order to keep their carbon footprint low, and to make all projects feel as authentic as possible.
