Gavin McWilliam is a multi-award-winning garden designer and landscape architect who runs his own studio in Buckinghamshire.

The Chelsea Flower Show Gold medallist has an impressive portfolio that includes the grounds of Wentworth Estate in Surrey, large country gardens in Oxfordshire and smaller courtyard retreats in Primrose Hill and Highgate. 

McWilliam Studio also works internationally, having designed a contemporary wilderness garden for a luxury villa in Portugal that was crowned Best International Garden at the Society of Garden Designer awards in 2022. 

When McWilliam recently caught up with Spear’s, he explained that business is going from strength to strength and he has seen a high number of repeat clients, ‘which is incredibly rewarding, as it shows we must be getting something right’.
