Spear’s Review
Set on New York’s Upper West Side, Trinity School has a long-established history stretching back to the 1700s. Originally founded with the intention to help children in the city living in poverty, the school maintains a strong sense of community and holds mutual caretaking as its core ethos.
Its definition of a world-class education encapsulates ‘rigorous academics’ twinned with ‘outstanding programs’ in athletics and the arts, as well as a strong focus on the importance of giving back to the wider community.
Students are encouraged to be emotional, social, physical and cognitive, with a wide variety of academic courses following the US curriculum. ‘We intend to prepare them to learn confidently for the rest of their lives and to give generously and joyfully to others,’ the school says.
