For over 26 years, the British School of Bahrain (BSB) has been at the forefront of education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it continues to uphold its reputation as the leading British Education institution on the island. The school has consistently received an outstanding rating from the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) and in its British Schools Overseas inspection (the equivalent of ISI/Ofsted).

BSB is the most internationally awarded school in Bahrain, with over seven different international awards achieved in the last year. Head teacher

Liz Stanley, executive principal of BSB, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role. With a strong background in education, she previously held senior positions at renowned institutions including GEMS Wellington Academy in Dubai and Knowledge Gate International Institution in Oman. 

Admissions

The admissions process at BSB is focused on assessing a child's academic and personal suitability for the school. For children entering Year 1 and above, prospective students are invited for an assessment day, where they take part in activities and lessons. The school takes into consideration each child’s potential to thrive in its environment.

Priority is given to siblings of current students, children of staff, and those with strong academic backgrounds.
