Established in 1849 by Bishop Robert Gray, Bishops Diocesan College has a long history as a South African bastion of education. Renowned for its pupils’ achievements on the playing fields, it offers an all-round education, encompassing academic, sporting and cultural opportunities in a single-sex environment. Described as ‘a unique space for boys to develop at their own pace, catering for their own individual needs’, academic achievement is high and each boy participates in the annual Eisteddfod or festival.
