With more than three decades of experience in private banking and tax advisory gained through various roles across the UK, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia, Opus Private’s Shane Giles serves a number of family offices, charities and HNW individuals.

He founded Opus in 2002 after working as a trusts and structuring specialist for a prominent international private bank. Based in Guernsey, Opus uses a ‘holistic approach’ in preserving family wealth, helping wealth to pass ‘successfully to other family members, through intelligent succession planning’, the firm says.

As well as assisting family offices with management and tax planning, Giles endeavours to help clients manage their financial affairs in a way that brings ‘total peace of mind’, he says.
