Established in 1976, Kellett is one of Hong Kong's leading international schools, renowned for providing an exceptional education comparable with leading independent schools in the UK. As a co-educational school, Kellett operates campuses on Hong Kong Island (for students aged 4-11) and Kowloon Bay (for students aged 4-18). The school follows the English National Curriculum, including GCSEs, IGCSEs, and A-levels.

The Positively Kellett curriculum focuses on preparing students to navigate and thrive when faced with life's challenges. It addresses various topics, including relationships, rights, and responsibilities, while helping students to think critically and responsibly, to become informed, healthy, and active citizens.

In addition to academics, Kellett offers students a rich and varied programme of extra-curricular activities. These include an extensive sports and expressive arts program, allowing students to participate in competitions and events across the Asia-Pacific region and internationally. 

As a non-profit organization, Kellett operates under a parent-governed Board and boasts highly skilled staff. Together, they strive to enable students to develop their own passions, broaden their horizons, and achieve their full potential.

Head teacher

Diana Vernon, interim principal and CEO at Kellett, was principal of Methodist Ladies’ College in Melbourne for nine years until December 2022, and prior to that was headmistress at City of London School for Girls.
