Spear’s Review

Andrew Dickey is divisional head of precious metals at the Royal Mint, the UK’s issuer of coins and bank notes. His role is to encourage investors to buy precious metals in the form of coins and bars from the mint, offering a trusted source of tested and certified gold, silver and platinum, as well as secure storage at a facility in south Wales.

Dickey sees precious metals as a stable, sustainable value store that can fit into any balanced high-net-worth portfolio. He told Spear’s that ‘there’s a lot of responsibility as we move to more sustainable choices for investment portfolios in particular, and I know that the Royal Mint is trying to be at the forefront of new opportunities for HNW investors’.
