Jasim Ahmed is an award-winning cigar influencer and mentor based in Dubai who is increasingly catering for an international audience of cigar enthusiasts.

As a certified Master of Habanos he is qualified to induct people into the world of fine cigars, and works with La Casa del Habano in Dubai to help aficionados select the perfect smoke. But it’s through his social media where he is finding a much larger audience as an independent. 

With more than 140,000 followers on Instagram and more than 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, Ahmed highlights not just cigars themselves, but the way of life around them.

‘It’s not only about cigars; it’s more about cigar lifestyle,’ he told Spear’s. ‘It started just in the UAE, but with social media, Instagram, I can contact people everywhere for training. There are a lot of misconceptions about cigars.’
