Martin Brudnizki

Spear’s Review

Martin Brudnizki is known for creating spaces that are bold yet timelessly elegant. Finding a balance between the two has proved easier for the acclaimed interior designer than some might think. ‘I like to think less about maximalism and more about romanticism,’ he said. ‘For me, it’s about conjuring a feeling of glamour mixed with comfort.’

It’s this approach that has characterised some of his most renowned projects — from London private members’ club Annabel’s to the Beekman Hotel in New York City.

The success of Brudnizki’s eponymous firm, which was founded in 2000, has been marked by its ability to ‘hand-craft environments that enable [its] clients to develop personal and long-lasting relationships with their interior spaces’.
