A lawyer for more than two decades, Max Campbell is a highly experienced civil litigator, and is au fait with the full spectrum of reputational challenges faced by HNWs, entrepreneurs, media figures and CEOs who rely on his expertise.

He joined Brett Wilson in 2011 and was made partner in 2018.

Recent big cases include defending a barrister in a libel claim brought jointly by Countdown host Rachel Riley and Tracy Ann Oberman over a retweet, as well as helping to secure libel damages from The Times in 2020. He can also help clients looking to exercise their privacy rights online, subject to the EU’s ‘right to be forgotten’ directives.

Campbell has appeared as a solicitor advocate in the High Court, and is well versed in helping private clients with challenges around privacy, data protection and harassment.
