Hanover Communications was founded by Charles Lewington, John Major’s former press secretary, in 1998. According to the company, which operates in Europe and the Middle East: ‘Everything we do is underpinned by rigorous research and robust measurement practices to ensure that we create outstanding returns for our clients.’

Michael Prescott, managing director of corporate and political strategy, joined Hanover in 2017 and offers communications and political counsel to a range of global clients. This is especially appropriate given his former role as political editor at the Sunday Times, where he worked for 10 years.

Prior to joining Hanover, Prescott served as director of corporate affairs at BT Group, where he dealt with PR planning, internal communications and media relations.
