George DuToit

Professor of paediatric allergies at the Food Allergy Clinic, George DuToit specialises in issues including food allergies, eczema, hives, hay fever, food intolerance and asthma.

He is currently researching methods to prevent and manage peanut allergies, and manages the first clinic in the UK to administer Palforzia, the peanut immunotherapy treatment. DuToit also served as a senior co-investigator in several studies funded by the National Institutes of Health, one of which included a study on managing peanut allergies.

DuToit is also a member of the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society and previously served as a Chair for the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology’s paediatric division.
