A senior member of the APAC team within JLL’s London office, Dora Zhao supports clients including HNWs, corporates, investors and developers from the Asia-Pacific region. The aim of the desk – which was established in 2011 – is to provide a dedicated and expert service to clients looking to invest in UK residential property.

Despite geopolitical developments elsewhere, China remains a significant global market for the firm and for the UK property market more generally. The team works closely with its counterparts in Beijing, and draws on its extensive local networks within both the UK and mainland China. The relative weakness of sterling making the UK market – and the capital in particular – an even more attractive destination for overseas investors. 

Zhao was shortlisted for the 2023 Spear's Award for Property Adviser of the Year. One industry peer commended her tenacity and ability to provide 'a 360-degree service.'
