Frances Murray joined Russell-Cooke in May 2022 after setting up a financial crime department at a City law firm in 2019.

Called to the Bar in 2008, the solicitor and litigator is drawn to criminal law as a way of helping people at times of crisis in their lives, defending their families, assets and livelihoods from potentially disastrous accusations.

She represents companies and directors as well as independent high-net-worth individuals, concentrating on fraud, financial crime and money laundering in multiple jurisdictions. She has also advised on high-profile cases involving NFTs and cryptocurrencies.
